Iperius Backup 2.7 has been released.
This version introduces a new advanced feature: the backup of Oracle databases.
Iperius allows to make online backups of Oracle: it’s compatible with any Oracle version and the database can be installed on both Linux and Windows.
You can make hot backup (ARCHIVELOG mode must be enabled) even of remote databases, that can be transferred locally through network shares of FTP/SFTP download.
Iperius fully supports RMAN, so it creates standard and compatible backup files (no proprietary format), that can be easily restored.
With a single license you can back up unlimited Oracle servers and databases.
In this version has been included a new option to keep multiple incremental copies of the same backup. You can now create incremental backups that allow to save disk space and keep an history of modified files.
