With version 8 Iperius also introduces Hyper-V Failover Cluster backup , i.e. Hyper-V virtual machines that are on different nodes of a Hyper-V cluster that share a Cluster Storage Volume. Iperius can view all virtual machines with information relating to the name of the node where it is currently present. Dynamically, Iperius can perform RCT hot backup (therefore also Incremental and Differential) using VSS technologies and save the virtual machines on any destination. Clearly it is possible to restore individual files or automatically restore the entire virtual machine.

Iperius is one of the most complete and convenient software also for the backup of virtual machines, since, in addition to Hyper-V, it also supports all versions of VMware ESXi, including architectures with ESXi Cluster and vCenter. Also for VMware you can do incremental and differential backups in thin provisioning mode (only the occupied space) and CBT. You can then make quick and granular backups while maintaining a history of the VM versions. Finally, you can restore individual files or restore the virtual machine to other hosts as well.
