Sure. Starting from version 6, Iperius allows you to restore individual files or folders from backups of VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines.
It is a very useful and very powerful feature, as it allows you to restore some files by taking them directly from the backups of the virtual machines, without the need to do a complete restore, which would take much longer.
Furthermore, since Iperius allows for example to make incremental and differential backups of ESXi, it is also possible to recover different versions of a file, as we can explore an incremental or differential backup made on a given date.
This functionality is also available in the free version of Iperius, and can also be used to open .VMDK files or to mount and open VHD or VHDX files. With Iperius you can open any VMDK or VHDX file and explore its contents to extract individual files or folders with a simple click.
