Iperius Backup 5.8.5: Server 2019, Backup of SQL Server logs, Incremental Cloud backup with zip compression

In version 5.8.5 of Iperius Backup, released on January 28th 2019, some important innovations have been introduced:

Iperius Backup is compatible with Windows Server 2019, and now allows you to perform incremental and differential backups on FTP or Cloud (Amazon S3, Google Drive, etc.) even with zip compression. The software creates a full zip file on the first backup and then smaller zip files that contain only the differences. This allows you to optimize space and performance.

Iperius Backup now supports backing up SQL Server transaction logs, allowing them to automatically truncate, and then it can shrink files.

Finally, minor bugs were fixed in the upload on Amazon S3, OneDrive and Azure.

Cannot open logfile. Asking for a password that I do not remember setting waywhere. Have looked for a password setting with no help.

  The log file is protected by a password set internally by Iperius which allows the preservation of the customer’s data when are sent by e-mail. The password cannot be communicated, but you can view the logs by going to the default path “C:\ProgramData\IperiusBackup”.
